Toyota Rent a Car is an auto rental system available only through Toyota dealers. Ralph Hayes Toyota offers the Toyota Rent a Car program to ensure quality, temporary transportation for our customers. Whether you need a service rental or an insurance replacement vehicle, we have you covered. Retail rentals are also available for extended test drives or special travel plans.

What are your rental center hours?

Our rental center is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Can I rent a vehicle at one location and return it to another location?

At this time, the vehicle must be returned to Ralph Hayes Toyota, located at 3525 Clemson Blvd in Anderson, SC.

Can I rent any Toyota vehicle?

We have a variety of Toyota model body styles available. Choose from a Toyota Corolla, Camry, RAV4, Highlander and Sienna. If you are looking for a different Toyota model, please contact our dealership for more details.

Can I buy the vehicle I am renting?

Absolutely. Most Toyota Rent a Car Toyota models are available to purchase after their short four-month in-service period. Also, many customers prefer to rent a Toyota model before committing to a purchase. Contact our sales department for more details.

Can I take the vehicle I rented into Mexico or Canada?

Toyota Rent a Car vehicles are allowed in the continental United States, Alaska and Canada. Toyota Rent a Car vehicles are prohibited from driving in Mexico.

Are there age restrictions on the person renting the Toyota?

Yes. You must be at least 21 years of age to rent a Toyota.

Are there any other restrictions?

You need a valid driver's license and a major credit card in your own name to rent a vehicle in the Toyota Rent a Car program. Proof of full coverage insurance that will transfer to the rental vehicle will be required at the time of rental.

Notes about licenses:

• A valid South Carolina driver’s license is required (i.e., must not be expired, must not have any restrictions).
• An International Driving Permit or license is acceptable but is not required.
• A military license is acceptable as long as it is accompanied by a South Carolina license, as well as proof that the Renter is on active duty.
• A Learner's Permit is not an acceptable license.
